Seems that we're getting blessed with new Echospace/Deepchord related material on an almost weekly basis at the moment - but when the quality is of this calibre it doesn't detract from the sense of excitement round these parts. "DBMX" is another rumbling low-end shuffle with all the swing and soul you'll have come to expect from Hitchell and Modell over the last twelve months. The hi-hats offset the sheer weight of the bass drum, making for a classic Berlin session in warmest analogue style. The CV313 reduction on the flip takes a more rugged stance, the upper registers almost completely discarded, squashed by the sweeping bass reverberation dominating the mix. The Echospace reduction, on the other hand, is an almost completely beatless rendition, the stabs softened and transposed to create a pitter patter of neon pads and suggested melodies that are just utterly compelling. Another masterful session from echospace...-Boomkat

Deep as the sea and sounding submerged somewhere miles under it, this three track EP finds Echospace in fine style, with three contrasting tracks. OBMX is incredible undersea dub that sounds like it should be accompanied by deep sea exploration footage. 313 reduction is finely tuned dubsided techno and echospace reduction just does without the drums altogether. -Bleep

O B M X is a mixture of covert bass tones and the shuffling of hazy shifting sand dunes in mighty fine dub style, while fans of more traditional techno structures may find the cv313 reduction more compulsive, a robust techno creature with a propelling groove that’s quite different to anything we’ve heard before from the e c h o s p a c e school of thought. Finally, the e c h o s p a c e reduction stretches the whispy ambience into a specimen all of its own. Magnificent. -Intellar Stellar Sounds, England
